Chiropractic is a healing philosophy, science, and art
to align people with their highest
expression of vitality.
Chiropractic care is a healing discipline which takes root in the fundamental relationship between structure and function. The short version of that long story looks like this: the laws of physics apply to the innumerable biological and chemical process that animate our living (microanataomical) tissues and (macroanatomical) organs.
Chiropractic holds that balanced and healthy spinal mechanics are essential to the function of the Central Nervous System (CNS- Brain/Spinal Cord). The CNS represents the operational computer which coordinates all the billions of cellular cogs which comprise the body’s machinery.
All machines eventually require tuning, balancing, or some sort of maintenance in order to retain their optimal function. And while the brain- in large part- does a great job at managing all the stressors that our bodies endure, over time, mechanical imbalances accumulate in our tissues due to trauma, repetitive stress, lack of awareness, and/or environmental factors that are inescapable realities of living life in a physical world.
Consistent chiropractic care supports the communcation between the body and the brain. When effective, chiropractic care acts like a software update to the programming of the brain - helping to correct posture and motion patterns which would otherwise persist out of balance.
