Soft Tissue
Therapy
Our goal is to identify and address imbalances as thoroughly and efficiently as possible. We listen, advise, and provide care that is specific to your individual needs. Imbalances in muscles, tendons, ligaments and/or joints- are treated site-specific to support balanced tone, motion, and postural patterns.
Common anatomical regions which require soft tissue interventions include the muscles of the scalp, neck, and arms, as well as the abdomen, hips and lower extremities. In our experience, people who receive tonal balancing through specific soft tissue modalities maintain their chiropractic adjustments and postural modification cues. Yes-posture is so important!
Active soft tissue modalities include proprio-neurofacilitation (PNF), post-isometric relaxation (PIR), active isolated stretching (AIS). Passive soft tissue modalities include myofascial release techniques (MFR), trigger point therapy (TRT), acupressure, and manual massage techniques as well as vibration therapy. (This is not a comprehensive list.)
We’re here to help and look forward to discussing your body goals!
